Our Gallery showcases what we do to empower our people, their living standards and culture that shape our work here in Samburu County, Kenya. As a grassroots Community-Based Organization (CBO), we believe that every image captures the spirit of resilience, unity, and progress that drives our programs.

Some of the Gallery Highlights are as follows
Celebrating World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2024 at Loosuk Mix Secondary School. This year’s theme is about empowering women and girls with the resources they need to manage their menstrual health with dignity. Together, we’re working to break down the stigma and provide access to essential menstrual products for those in need. We donated 500 packages of sanitary towels and other essentials to the students.
One of the highlights of our “Moran’s Dialogue” initiative, where we partnered with the Ministry of Health Samburu to engage the young Samburu Moran’s on important health and wellness topics. It was eye-opening to learn that they typically rely on traditional herbal remedies and are hesitant to seek modern medical services. Through our open discussions, we were able to break down barriers and encourage the Moran’s to take advantage of preventive healthcare services. It was incredibly rewarding to see them embrace this new approach to their well-being, including mental health support.
Commemorating the Day of the African Child. The theme was “Education for all children in Africa – the time is now,” and we were honored to be part of this important initiative. At Logorate Junior Secondary and Logorate Primary School, we had the privilege of distributing much-needed mosquito nets and sanitary pads to the students. Education is a fundamental right, and we believe that providing these essential resources is a crucial step in ensuring that all children in Africa have access to quality education.
