Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Program
In Samburu County, gender-based violence remains a deeply rooted challenge, heavily driven by complex cultural, social, and economic dynamics. At Hope for Samburu Communities (HFSC), we believe that dismantling violence requires a holistic, survivor-centred approach.
We focus on deeply understanding these underlying root causes to design targeted, localized interventions. Through robust community awareness, human rights education, and the reinforcement of legal and policy frameworks, we are actively shifting harmful social norms. Our program is dedicated to establishing safe, accessible support services for survivors, driving the economic empowerment of women and girls, and walking hand-in-hand with cultural and religious leaders to build a safer, more equitable society.
